Aromatherapy
Essential Oils were used by the Ancient Egyptians and Romans and are referenced in the New and Old Testaments of the Bible. They were used for treatment of illness, injury and spiritual needs.

Essential Oils are aromatic liquids distilled from seeds, flowers, roots, shrubs and trees; and are not greasy like vegetable oils. They have an immediate impact on the sense of smell. When an essential oil is inhaled, olfactory receptor cells are stimulated and the impulse is transmitted to the emotional center of the brain, which is the limbic system.
The limbic system involves emotion, motivation, and emotional association with memory. The limbic system influences the formation of memory by integrating emotional states with stored memories of physical sensations.
Here are a few essential oil benefits:
- Insect repellent

Natural Animal Wellness uses only the finest Grade A, Authentic and Genuine oils available. The oils used on your pet are carefully distilled after being grown in organic soils from natural seeds, and no chemicals are ever added. Oils may be inhaled from the bottle or a diffuser, or diluted in carrier oil and rubbed into the skin, paws or hoofs. Please refrain from the use of oils on or around your animal unless you have consulted with your veterinarian or they are used by an educated aromatherapy provider.
Caution: Essential oils are an extremely potent substance and can be potentially toxic to cats and other small animals due to their weight, size and metabolism. Please consult your veterinarian before applying, diffusing or storing any oil on or around your cat or other small animal. Do not use on pregnant animals because of hormonal changes. Even though essential oils are organic, it is possible to over expose your animal(s) causing an “overdose”. This may cause an illness or even be fatal. Please be aware of possible side effects of any oil.
